This Privacy Policy explains how we handle account information and private Family Space content in the United States.
What we collect
We collect account and authentication details, Family Space memberships and invitations, content you choose to save or share, device and session information, support messages, and optional analytics activity. Google sign-in provides the profile information needed to authenticate you.
How we use and share it
We use information to operate Family Spaces, deliver content to authorized members, protect accounts, provide support, improve the service, and comply with law. Service providers may process information for hosting, storage, video, authentication, email, maps, security, analytics, and support. We do not sell private family content or use it for targeted advertising.
Mixed-age families
Independent Ohana Chat accounts are limited to people age 13 or older. Parents and guardians may share content about younger children in a Family Space and are responsible for deciding what to share. Children under 13 should not create or manage independent accounts. Contact ceo@ohanachat.app if you believe a child under 13 created an account or submitted information directly.
Your choices
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about our processing. Contact ceo@ohanachat.app. We may verify identity and authority before completing a request.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to provide the service, protect security, resolve disputes, comply with law, and maintain reasonable backups. Account deletion may leave shared family content available to other authorized members. We use reasonable safeguards, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
We use necessary cookies for sign-in and security. Optional public-site analytics are loaded only after consent where the consent control is shown. Some Shop and partner links may be affiliate links.
