Delete your Ohana Chat account.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Profile.
2. Open Account.
3. Select Delete account.
4. Type DELETE and confirm with your password, Apple, or Google sign-in when prompted.

Your account is deleted right away and this can’t be undone. Your private profile and sign-in data are removed from every Family Space. Shared history remains under “Former Member,” and your username becomes available again. If you’re a Family Space’s only admin, its longest-standing adult member becomes admin.

Request deletion without the app

Sign in to Ohana Chat on the web, open your Profile and account settings, and use Delete account. You can also email support@ohanachat.app from the address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify that you own the account before completing the request.

What is deleted and what may remain

Private profile and sign-in data are removed. Shared family posts, comments, photos, videos, events, recipes, journal stories, and relationships may remain available to authorized family members under “Former Member.” Limited security, fraud-prevention, legal, audit, backup, or deletion-processing records may be kept only as long as needed.
